With bOnline’s Blocklist, you can prevent unwanted calls from reaching you. Once a number is added to your blocklist, it applies across all devices linked to your user account, including desktop, web, mobile, and desk phones.
Accessing the Blocklist
The Blocklist can be managed from the Desktop (or Web) App:
Open Settings.
Select Blocklist from the menu.
Adding a Number to the Blocklist
You can block numbers in two ways:
From the Blocklist Settings
Click Add new number.
Choose the country code using the flag dropdown.
Enter the phone number you want to block.
Add a note to remind yourself why the number was blocked.
From Call History
You can also block a call directly from your Call History:
Open your Call History.
Select the call you’d like to block.
Click Block.
Managing Your Blocklist
You can review your blocklist at any time. From here, you can:
Edit an entry (e.g., update the note).
Unblock a number to allow calls again.
Limitations of Blocking
It’s important to know what blocking does, and doesn’t, do:
User-Level Blocking Only
The block applies only to calls that go directly to the user who enabled the block (e.g., a single user account or DDI).
No Impact on Other Users
The block does not affect other users in your organisation.
If the same caller dials another user’s direct number, the call will still go through.
No Impact on Group or Main Numbers
The block does not apply to calls coming into a group line (e.g., a main number on a multi-user account).
What Happens When a Blocked Number Calls?
Just so you know, you won't get a call notification when a blocked number tries to reach you.
The call will still appear in your Blocked Call History, so you remain aware of the attempt.
