This article explains how to perform a factory reset on your 4G ZTE MF296R router. A factory reset will restore the router to its default settings and can resolve persistent connection issues.
Please note: A factory reset will erase all your custom settings. After the reset you will need to log in using the default name and password printed on the sticker at the bottom of the router.How to Factory Reset Your Router
- Open your browser and enter http://192.168.8.1 in the address bar, then press Enter.
- Enter your login details and click Log In. The default password is on the sticker at the bottom of the router.
- Select Advanced.
- Select System.
- Select Reset.
- Confirm by selecting Reset again.
- Select OK to confirm.
The router will reset to factory defaults and restart automatically.
