How to restart your 5G ZTE MC888 router

Follow these steps to restart your 5G ZTE MC888 router to resolve connectivity issues and improve performance. 


To reset/restart the ZTE MC888 press the 'RESET' button underneath the router with a pin and hold for about 3 seconds until the LED lights go off and on again. Alternatively, you can perform a reset using the software interface.


These step-by-step instructions will assist you in restarting your ZTE MC888:

  • Open your browser and in the address bar, enter http://192.168.0.1 and press 'Enter'.

  • Enter your login information and choose 'Log in', the default password can be found on a sticker at the bottom of the ZTE MC888.

  • Choose 'Advanced Settings'.

  • Choose 'Others'.

  • Choose 'Restart'.

  • Choose 'Restart'.

  • Choose 'Yes'.


  • Once you have completed the above steps, the ZTE MC888 will automatically reboot.
