This article explains how to perform a factory reset on your 5G ZTE MC801A router. A factory reset will restore the router to its default settings and can resolve persistent connection issues.
Please note: A factory reset will erase all your custom settings. After the reset you will need to log in using the default name and password printed on the sticker at the bottom of the router.Option 1: Reset Using the Reset Button
Press and hold the Reset button on the router with a pointed object for approximately 3 seconds until the LED lights go off and back on again.

Option 2: Reset Using the Software Interface
- Open your browser and enter http://192.168.0.1 in the address bar, then press Enter.
- Enter your login details and click Log In. The default password is on the sticker at the bottom of the router.

- Select Advanced Settings.

- Select Others.

- Select Reset.

- Confirm by selecting Reset again.

- Select Yes to confirm.

The router will reset to factory defaults and restart automatically.
