How to do a factory reset on your 5G ZTE MC801A router

These step-by-step instructions will assist you in performing a factory reset of your ZTE MC801A.

To reset the ZTE MC801A press the 'RESET' button with a pin and hold for about 3 seconds until the LED lights go off and on again. Alternatively, you can perform a reset using the software interface.

Follow the next steps to do so:

Open your browser, then in the address bar, enter http://192.168.0.1 and press 'Enter'.
Enter your login information and choose 'Log in', the default password can be found on a sticker at the bottom of the ZTE MC801A.

Choose 'Advanced Settings'.

Choose 'Others'.

Choose 'Reset'.

Choose 'Reset'.

Choose 'Yes'.

Your ZTE MC801A will reset to factory default and restart automatically. After the factory reset, you will need to log in to your modem using the default name and password.
