What should you know about bOnline's billing cycles?

bOnline now uses a daily billing model for all new customers. Daily billing simplifies the billing process, eliminates confusing pro-rata charges, and improves your customer experience.

Here's how the daily billing cycle works:

When does billing start?

Your billing starts on the day you go live with your service.

  • There are no pro-rata charges. You’ll be billed from your go-live date with a full billing cycle aligned to that date.

  • This means your bill will always reflect a clean, consistent cycle – no partial charges or confusing adjustments.

When will I receive my first invoice?

  • Your invoice is generated one day after your go-live date.

  • The invoice date will match your go-live date.

  • Your rental product is billed monthly in advance, with usage billed in arrears.

For example: If a service goes live May 1st, your invoice will be generated May 2nd and dated May 1st.

When is payment taken?

We’ve built in some breathing room so you can review your invoice before payment:

  • Direct Debit is collected 10 days after your go-live date.

  • Recurring Card Payments are collected 10 days after your go-live date.

Continuing the example above: If you went live on 1st May, your payment will be collected on 11th May.

What if I started on a trial?

If you started on a bOnline trial, your billing timeline begins after you upgrade.

  • Your billing cycle will be aligned to the day your trial ends and your service becomes active.

  • Your invoice will follow the same rules as above.

  • Direct Debit or Recurring Card Payment will be collected 10 days after the invoice date.
