Learn the timeline for SIM activation, barring, and swapping, and how to ensure your 4G/5G service is up and running quickly. 


Activation timescales: Once an order has been placed on the portal, the following timescales will apply:

  • If you connect a sim before 12 pm - it will connect 24 hr from 12 pm 

  • if you connect a sim after 12 pm - it will connect 24 hr from 4 pm 

  • if you connect a sim after 4 pm - it will connect 12 hr the next day from 12 pm 


Sim Barring:

  • Once a sim bar has been activated, it can take up to 2 working days to bar.

  • If urgent, please call the support team on 01158225000 and they will action the SIM bar for you within 15 minutes.


Sim Swap:

  • Once a sim swap has been generated, it can take up to 2-working days to change to the new sim.

  • If urgent, please call the support team on 01158225000 and they will action the SIM swap for you within 15 minutes.
