Yealink Provisioning Guide for VoIP 3.0

Following this provisioning guide makes setting up your Yealink IP phone for bOnline’s VoIP 3.0 system simple. With these easy-to-follow steps, you can quickly get your device up and running. 

Factory Reset the Device:

Yealink T series (Corded) :

  • Hold down the 'OK' button until the device prompts to reset to the factory settings.
  • Confirm prompt.


Yealink W dect series: (from the base station)

  • Hold your finger on the button on the base 
  • While holding your finger on the button, unplug the power cord
  • Continue holding your finger on the button for 15 seconds
  • After 15 seconds, plug the power cord back in
  • Only release your finger from the button when you see 3 green solid lights
  • Wait 15 seconds
  • Unplug the power cord again without pressing the button this time
  • Wait 15 seconds
  • Plug the power cord back in wait till you see 2/3 green solid lights



Then pair the handset to the base station: 

  • Press the OK button between the arrows on the handset
  • Navigate to registration
  • Navigate to register handset
  • Click on base 1 ( If base 1 does not work try base 2 )
  • The moment you click on base 1 hold your finger on the wifi button on the base station till you see a pop up on the screen of the handset
  • enter pin 0000 ( If 0000 does not work try 1379 )


Note: The device and computer/laptop you’re using need to be connected to the same network.


Find Your IP Address:


To find your IP address, you can follow these steps:


Yealink W Dect Series:

  • Press the 'OK', button (round button between the arrows on the handset ) 3 times
  • This will provide you with the IPV4 address

Yealink T Series:

  • Press the 'OK' button ( round button between the arrows once ), this will provide you with the IPV4 address


For both handsets, your IP address should look something like this: 

  • "IPV4: 102.209.143.69."


Note: If the device has no IP address, this means the internet is Not Flowing through to the device. In this case, have a look at the following:

  • Ethernet cables
  • Ethernet ports
  • Firewalls
  • Broadband connection.



Take the IPV4 address and enter the address in the URL section in Chrome, this will take you to the interface login page



If a factory reset has been completed, please use the login details below :

 
Username: admin
Password: admin

 Steps to Complete Setup in the Web Portal 

  • On the login screen, enter the username (default is 'admin') and the password (default is 'admin') and click 'Login'.


Provisioned and Working
If factory reset was not done then they will use the instance password. 

If the device is provisioned and working, without any factory reset needed, you could use these passwords, depending on your specific needs.  


Contact Support for the Admin password.

  • Once logged in click the 'Settings' option in the top right corner.

  • Next, click on the 'Auto Provisioning' tab on the left. Then enter the provisioning string you copied from the MYbOnline portal into the 'Server URL' box.

  • Click Confirm 


  • Scroll down and click on 'Auto Provision Now.'

This will cause the phone to reboot and do an upgrade. Once the upgrade is complete, the device should be in working/registered status.
