Missing an engineer appointment can be quite an inconvenience, but it's not the end of the world. There are steps you can take to stop a penalty fee or reschedule your engineer's visit to a later date.
Please note: If you can’t make it to your engineer visit, please let us know at least 48 hours before your scheduled time, and you will not be charged a penalty fee. What Happens if you Miss the Visit?
Here are the key points to keep in mind:
- Missed Appointment Fee: If you haven't let us know that you'll miss your appointment in time, you may be charged up to £120 (excluding VAT).
- Reschedule: Appointments can be rescheduled, but you’ll need to agree to this fee beforehand.
If you cannot make it to your engineer appointment, but someone else can provide access to your property, the visit can still go ahead.
