What do I need to know before my engineer appointment?

To help you plan for your service installation or upgrade, here's a quick guide on whether an engineer needs to visit your premises and the available timeslots for each order type.

Does the engineer require access to your premises?

  • New Line Installation: Yes, an engineer is required to visit.

  • Fibre Upgrade: No, installation is done remotely.

  • Migrate: No, installation is done remotely.

  • Takeover: No, installation is done remotely.

  • Restart: No, installation is done remotely.

  • Downgrade: No, installation is done remotely.

  • GFAST: Yes, an engineer is required to visit.


Please note: The available engineer timeslots are AM (08:00 - 13:00), PM (13:00 - 18:00), and All Day (Engineer to visit the exchange).


Timeslots available for specific order types:

  • New Line Installation: AM or PM

  • Fibre Upgrade: All day

  • Migrate: All day

  • TakeoverAll day

  • RestartAll day

  • DowngradeAll day

  • GFAST: AM or PM
