Modified on Mon, 16 Sep at 9:01 AM

Learn how to set up your voicemail and customise hold music on your bOnline phone system. Set up a voicemail delay and set an email address for voicemail messages to be sent to. To set up voicemail and hold music, follow the steps below.

  • On the 'Phone setup' page, under the 'Voicemail and hold music' tab, you will see the option to create a new voicemail greeting, click 'Edit'.

  • Create your voicemail message by typing it out, recording, or uploading a greeting from your device. Preview your greeting before clicking 'Save'.

  • Another voicemail feature is the 'Voicemail delay' setting. Before playing your voicemail message, the phone will ring for a specified amount of time before going to voicemail.

  • Have your voicemail messages sent directly to your email by toggling on the feature and entering your email address.

  • Lastly, you can make use of the hold music feature to upload music that callers will hear after being placed on hold.

Please note: Uploaded files can be a maximum of 3MB in size. Accepted fiel formats are: mp3, aiff, wav, and flac.
