Zoho Marketplace Installation Guide

This guide explains how to install the bOnline phone app for Zoho Marketplace integration.


Prerequisites

  • Zoho user account with Marketplace access permissions

  • bOnline user account

  • CRM add-on enabled on the bOnline account

  • bOnline desktop app installed

  • Supported web browser for Zoho telephony integration

Installation Steps

Step 1: Grant Zoho Permissions

  1. When configuring the integration, a pop-up window will appear requesting permission to access the Zoho account.

  2. Tick the checkbox to allow access.

  3. Click Accept to continue.

  1. Once the dialogue box closes, click OK.


Step 2: Check the Setup Email

  • An email will be sent to the user selected during the CRM setup process.


Step 3: Log In to Zoho CRM

  1. Log in to the Zoho CRM account.

  2. Open the Marketplace to install the required plugin.


Step 4: Install the CloudCTI Extension

  1. In the Zoho Marketplace, search for CloudCTI for Zoho CRM.

  2. You can find the extension by:

    • Searching for CloudCTI in the search bar, or

    • Browsing through the Telephony or VoIP categories.


Step 5: Verify and Install the Extension

  1. Verify the extension details.

  2. Click Install.

  3. Accept the terms and conditions to continue.


Step 6: Log In to the Telephony Panel

  1. Return to the Zoho CRM home screen.

  2. Click the telephone icon located at the bottom of the status bar.

  3. The telephony login window will appear.

  4. Enter the login details linked to the email received in Step 2.


Step 7: Confirm the Phone Connection

Once successfully logged in, a confirmation message stating “Phone is connected” will be displayed.


Step 8: Make and Manage Calls

You can now make Click-to-Call calls directly from Zoho CRM contacts.

Features Available During Calls:

  • Calls are handled through the bOnline Desktop App

  • The contact name is displayed during the call

  • Notes can be added during the conversation

  • Call notes are automatically saved to the contact record in Zoho CRM


Please note: This is not a standalone or embedded phone system inside Zoho CRM. The integration works as a client that initiates calls through the MYbOnline Desktop App while allowing Zoho CRM to log calls and store notes.
