Connecting Your Handset To Your Router

Connecting your handset to your router only requires a few simple steps to complete successfully. To use a desk or cordless IP phone with your bOnline phone system, you must connect your phone to the internet, which can be done via your router.

Connecting Your Desk Phone Or Cordless Phone

1. Router Connection: Make sure Ethernet cord is connected to the LAN (Yellow) port of the router. 

2. IP Phone Connection: Take your router's LAN cable and connect it to one of your IP phone's "Internet" ports.

Common Error Messages

If your IP phone is not connected to the internet, you may see the following error messages:

• Failed To Connect

• Failed To Retrieve IP

• Retrieving Network

• Obtaining IP
